Vitra Lantern

For Chattanooga’s annual Light Up Chatt Parade, Playful Evolving Monsters invited local groups to design lanterns as part of the festival. HK Architects turned the opportunity into a collaborative office project and Teal (from Little Things Lab) and Petra (from Good Stud.io) developed the overall direction and shop drawings, giving the team a clear framework to fabricate together. The result, Vitra Lantern, playfully reinterprets Herzog & de Meuron’s VitraHaus showroom in Weil am Rhein, Germany, as a glowing architectural miniature.
